Chet At The Studio

Chet Overall

The other day Chet stopped by my studio for a quick surprise visit. Chet is a designer, photographer, and, well… he is the Dude :). I didn’t want to say much about his personality, as I think it’s pretty obvious. Continue reading »

Oaklands Park

Oaklands-Murfreesboro

I have taken quite a few photos at Oaklands Park in Murfreesboro. Although I think it is one of the most beautiful places in Murfreesboro, I hardly ever see other photographers there. And as a photographer I couldn’t ask for a better place to escape from the overwhelming number of photographers present in other “pretty” places of Murfreesboro (i.e. Cannonsburgh). David at the Studio

David Bartos Smiling

I have always wanted to have a boy. In fact, as Sonia was being born, not being too acquainted with all that comes out along with the baby (i.e. umbilical chord), I exclaimed “It’s a boy!”. Continue reading »

Radnor Lake

Green Forest, Radnor Lake

It’s been many months since I’ve gone out to photograph nature. I didn’t realize how much I missed it until I set out last week with Mike and  Malcolm to go to Radnor Lake, which is a beautiful park/trail between Brentwood TN and Nashville. Bucharest Lady

Doamna din Bucuresti

Over the past few months I learned to ask one of the most important questions in photography: do you mind if I take a photo of you? If you think this is silly, no need to continue reading, just click on the photo at the bottom of the post to see it larger. But if you agree that the above question is one of the hardest things to ask, you will understand my excitement of being able to (partly) get over my the shy-photographer complex. Continue reading »

About Children. David

David Bartos

When I first found out that we were going to have our last child (which turned out to be David), I had very mixed feelings. But before I go into more details, let me back up a little and share a bit of our history. Continue reading »

Tania #2

Tania Bartos

This is the photo of Tania that I mentioned in my previous post. I couldn’t decide which version I like better, so I am posting both the color and the black & white versions. Continue reading »
