Romanian born Titus Bartos moved to the United States in 2001 to study piano at Union University, where he graduated in 2005. In May 2007 he finished his Masters in Piano Performance at Middle Tennessee State University, where he currently teaches as an adjunct faculty. At MTSU he has performed in numerous recitals with students, faculty, and guest artists.

Titus has been an active member of the American Matthay Association for Piano, and has played in numerous competitions and master classes while in the U.S. He is also a part of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honorary Society.

Prior to his coming to the United States, Titus studied with Elisabeta Fekete, a well known Romanian piano teacher. During his years in Dr. Fekete's studio, Titus won many regional and national prizes in competitions such as Tinere Talente (Young Talents) and Deva National Competition. His American teachers were Terry McRoberts and Jerry Perkins.
